Women often eat less iron, zinc, and copper than optimal. To make matters worse, exercise can raise requirements. Most multi-vitamins add copper & zinc in non-ideal forms and omit iron. Although not everyone needs more iron, many women runners do (see “The Details” link above).
Vionica has WELL ABSORBED forms of these minerals + carnitine & phosphatidylserine, which compliment mineral functions. Published research found that Vionica dramatically lowered average 3 mile run times. Stationary bike & step test performance also improved. These various effects mostly DISAPPEARED if the Vionica mineral forms were replaced by generic forms.
